Burning Lance And Thermal Lance Pipe - Anaya Steel

We are the pioneers in manufacturing of Calorized refractory-coated lancing pipes universally. Our pipes are mostly used in Steel Melting Shops, Blast Furnaces area in different applications like CDI/ PCI, blowing of oxygen gas, Carbon, Argon etc , degassing of VOD unit, slag cutting into the convertor, Ladle tap hole cleaning etc.


Calorized refractory coated lance pipe and High Quality Burning Lance Pipe is a very important tool for oxygen steel making as in this process of steel manufacturing by open hearth or electric furnace, the consumption rate of lance pipes for oxygen injection sows rather high ratio owing to high temperature and severe oxidation.

By a special heat treatment process Al & Fe powder mix diffuse on the surface of the steel pipes, heated slowly to the temperature within the range of 900 -1000° C. to form a metallurgical Ferro-Aluminide surface. Since the diffusion is an inter-metallic bond, which doesn’t get damaged either by mechanical working like bending or strengthening or by high temperatures. In calorizing conditions, aluminium is oxidized to alumina which has a very high melting point, i.e. 2100°C. Compared to the melting point of normal MS pipe, which is mere 700°C. While the calorizing coated surface is exposed to the high temperature, the calorized layer forms a heat resistant aluminum oxide film over the surface and protect the severe oxidation and thus, consumption of lance could be saved resulting which its becomes very cost effective.

On an above, both side refractory coating is made from a special high alumina material to give higher resistance against burning at high temperature. Anyways information is provided by Anayasteel.com
